Whats the best/cheapest way to go about swapping from an auto to a manual?

I know its nothing easy. How would I go about getting a manual tranny? and how much would I be dropping in cash?

i paid $450 for a complete 2.0 engine and tranny with the entire wiring harness including both fuse boxes. the guy i bought it from paid $900 and it just sat in his garage till i bought it.

replacing a transmission as light as a hyundai one isnt as hard as most think. it might take you a week but if you get all the parts and have at least 2 ppl and enough determination to start what you finish you wont be disappointed.

If you took the time to search a little, you will find that there are not one but TWO stickies in the Hybrid forum that deal with an auto to 5spd swap.

My fault, I was leaving work and just threw the question out there, SO I didn't have the time to search at the moment.
