Default 4G63T into a Scoupe...need some guidance here, thanks!

neonturbo1995@yahoo.com

I have a 1G and a 2G 4G63T from 2 DSM's I have owned ready for a donor car. I really want to do the swap into a Scoupe (not sure what year would be the best candidate, so let me know). I saw this done somewhere in this forum in a 92 Scoupe (non-turbo 4G63). Please enlighten me if you can.

What else will I need?

P.S. It would be cool to adapth the AWD system to this car (wow, that would cost a lot of $$$....and be a pain, I would imagine).

Thanks!!!!!

1991-92 scoupes will work, not the 93-96(not easily anyway), im not exactly sure what u will need? probably engine, transmission, ecu, wiring harness, might need to modify some mounts too.

the swap is exactly the same as doing the nt to turbo swap for dsm's. you will need everything when swapping it over. and yes, the older ones are applicable whereas the 93 up aren't due to the swap over of the engine bay.

If You Do Decide To Do The Swap use The 1Gen Motor Because The 2Gen Had Bad Problems With Crankwalk:??:And The Motor Will Swap in Without Any Problems Unless Your Using A Diiferent Tranny Then You Have To Fvck With The Tranny Mounts:

Hi! Im also intrested in these things. I own a 91, and a 92 er scoupes 1st gen. I found a rolled over 1st gen eclipse about 1000 USD on the market (e-bay.de) 1991 1st gen modell. I will make the swap the engine, and the transmission also+ wireing and what + oppetrunities gives around the swap. I will make photos of them.
I think the 150 HP engine with some fine tune will beat the moast of the racers here in Hungary.
For you the best wishes to do the same ! Alfreddos from Hungary
