Default Beta engine into Accent axle question

Hello Everybody, I'm considering the swap. How much do the Tibby axles need to be shortened to work, and who can do this work? Thanks...

Well, cutting a axle is a very very bad thing.

Its needs to be designed for a certian legth as the rotating mass will cause vibration if not properly designed.

pick up some car mags, I seen some axles companies in them.

I've actually got a Neon with a 2.4 Stratus engine, but its going to end up a little extreme for every day driving. I'm looking to build up an Accent into a 14 second fun car that I can drive to work. I think the Beta engine in an Accent would make for a half pint terror. I'll bet driveshaftshop.com could build some strong axles for this swap any length you tell them. It'll probably cost some $$$ though. I post on clubsi.com and there was a guy who put a Tiburon engine into a 2001 Accent. I think maybe he didn't have to cut the axles for the swap into the newer body style. He hasn't posted there in awhile unfortunately.
BTW, what kind of times are people running with Beta Accents with some bolt ons? 8D
