crazy but..i have a 4g15 mitsu motor...and i know that the scoupe (series 1) has mitsu based engines as well....question is .... does the series 1 scoupe come turbo and if so would the turbo and exhaust manifold bolt up to the 4g15 engine....crazy..but hey if it does i will try it and let you know how it comes....thanx:ermm:

Unfortunately, the turbo Scoupe didn't come along till the Series 2 models came out. The turbo models had the newer Hyundai-built Alpha motor.
Your simplest options would be a 4g63 or 4g63t swap; there also the 4g61t motor, a 1.6l turbocharged engine that was used in the Mirage in the late 80s and early 90s. I think they're quite hard to find, though.

yeah im goin to swap in my 4g63t HERE IN A FEW WEEKS AS SOON AS I CAN FIND A CHERRY PICKER but i bought my engine off of http://www.streetimports.com/homepage.htm and i dont know how it runs yet but the is a wicked swap i would do it right now i have the 4G15 to and ive got some good power out of it:lol::evil:
