u'll need a evo 4 onwards motor. to fit it in the accent or tiburon. the ecplipse motor wont fit in the car cause some bull about the engine sitting on the wrong side of the engine bay. it is quite expensive either way cause evo engines are heaps expensive and also running costs. if anything breaks good luck. parts are heapssss expensive

Anyone have Ruby's contact info ( AIM, email, HP id )? Ever since I saw that article in SCC, I have been obsessed with making something similar to his car, and I just wanted to get in touch with him. So, if anyone knows, that would be wonderful. Or if anyone wants to post info on how hard the swaps were, how much money, etc., that would be awesome! Thanks

Zack

Hey everyone, I have been inspired by this site to get a beater 95 elantra to make a killer sleeper out of. I was hoping you guys had some info on swapping in the dsm 4g63t
and possiby mits trans and axles. first off, What is needed to do this swap- my car is currently 1.6 manual, and I figured the turbo engine would chew up the stock 5-spd if any power was put to the ground.so any shopping lists or suggestions would be awesome. I have friends with eclipse/talon parts sitting around and I am trying to get the most bang for the buck using used parts.Maybe later I'll go more hardcore, but for now I think 200-280 hp from a mostly stock 4g63t would be suitable:evil:
