mitsu engine will work only you need to have money to burn or be sponsored cause the only engines which fit in the x3's are evo 4 engines and above so stick with the 2ltr beta its your best bet and if you want more power just slap on a turbo. much cheaper and keep car reliable.

cheers

If ya want a cheap and reliable car... Ill suggest keeping the 1.5L and turboin that... Or just go NA with some lil power gains CAI, Headers, Exhaust, Cams etc etc. Ask yourself why do you want a new motor?? Is it caz you think it wont go g00d with modifications... Or is the engine just bouta die on ya...

Ill look more into it instead of just swappin a motor... Hehhe everyday i change my mind. Of from the facts and other stuff im gettin everyday... im always choosing either 2.0L Turbo or 1.5L Turbo...

Ehh.. the day will come down to the crunch when i gotta choose... But for now... Im still saving those pennies

Actually, since he has an X3, I thought he'd go for the 1.8L beta, since it doesn't have an immobliser or something?
