What are my motor options?

I have a 97' elantra and ive got enough cash too drop a motor and tran in. But what motors are available for my swap . I have a 1.8 dohc Thanx

If you have enough to do a motor swap then you have enough to go forced induction and sine the 1.8 beta is considered the best beta for such an application then just do that. Unless of course you wanna 4g63t but turbo will yield you all you will ever need

You already have the best motor that is a direct swap in to your car. The only other choice would be the 2.0ltr Beta and you get a whole whopping 5hp (if that) for the swap.

Just turbo your current motor.
