well..

teh scoupe had a turbo option so just go get a turbo scoupe motor with the ECU. the same 1.5 SOHC motor with LOW compression pistons and oil squirters. you can just upgrade that turbo and add a boost controller and you should have quite enough power.

I'm not sure which SCoupe models will take the 4G63T swap, but it's 2.0L Turbo DSM from earlier 90's eclipses/talons and depending on your model of SCoupe, it may drop almost right in.

i was being rude ???

sorry katie, welcome to HP.com. any questions you may have you can post here; and not just car related questions either. there are off-topic, health and wellness, and flame rooms to suit just about any conversation.

anyway she asked a question and i answered it pretty well. YOU on the other hand said nothing of relevance except that youre lacking in the pooty department :|

but if she asks for a relationship in the NY area then i would have some more answers and advice to give 8D

Edit: also Britton, he should know.

Welcome to the boards.

Your S-coupe has the mitsubishi 4G15. As jerkitt pointed out, you can go for the turbo 2.0l from 89-94 Eclipse/Talon/Laser. You also have the slightly easier and cheaper(although less powerful) option of upgrading to a 1.6 or 1.8 DOHC n/a from 92-95 Elantras.

Hi Katie!.......Jerkitt & Pucci have summed things up pretty well for you. Up to `93 all the Scoupes had Mitsubishi engines & those types mentioned can be dropped in quite easily!.
They are also plentiful over there, so the engine of your choice should be able to be bought & fitted at a fairly reasonable cost.
Good luck with your project,
Nick.
