Default NEw Beta swap (56k warning)

Well folks,

Just to fill you folks in, I'm in the process of dropping a 1.8L BETA into a 96 Accent. We got the old motor out this evening and Friday we are gonna remove the old wiring harness and install the BETA's. Then the fun is gonna begin, actually dropping the BETA into the car and getting everything connected. Anyone got any helpful hints that I should be aware of??? We have the Engine/Tranny and ECM/Wiring Harness from the Beta

Will keep ya'll posted on futher developments.

Ok folks we are finished with the pulling of the engine and the wiring harness, and let me tell you that I would not recommend this for the faint hearted!!!!! The Wiring harness is a royal pain to get to!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pics!

This is the way the engine bay looks now

Here's the dash before we totally go ahold of it.

This is a royal pain to get out!!!!!!!!

And here's the man brave enough to let me tear his car apart! No, there is nothing wrong with the picture he is really that short!!!!! J/k'ing bro!

More pics to come as we make progress with the swap.
