Default 4G63T tiburon doing 14s?

Hey guys,

I'm putting in a 4G63T engine into my 97 tibfx soon, however i was looking @ http://www.terato.com/cars/Cararchive/Hyundai.asp and he says there that the car is too heavy, that's why it runs 14s :dead:. I plan to up the boost to about 18psi and change the fuel delivery system, this should put me in the range of 300hp or so. So the question is, what 1/4 time do you think i can run @ that hp, given the weight of the tib? i don't have any stuff to bog down the car like speakers n stuff. I would really like to break into low 13s, do you think this is possible without changine the stock turbo?

You reply would be much appreciated.

This is some of my competition :??:

aranoid:

Nah i would hardly get put up against those rides, i think my major competition would be sr20det sentras, turbo civics. If i keep beating those they'd put me up against evos, subbies and rx7s, if i beat those they'd put me against a 10 sec supra tuned by TRD and the tricked out skyline GTRS :dead:

I'd be happy beating the 1st stage and some of the 2nd :smoking:

4G63 is a very difficult engine to swap to for Tiburons/Elantras. IMO, stick with the Beta.

a 4g63T is about as hard to swap into a tib as a integra b18 gsr motor getting swapped into your tib. NOTHING matches up. good luck:

You guys are wasting your time... we all know this is the fastest car you'll ever see:
http://thedodgegarage.com/the_reliant.html

Hahaha... I'd love to swap in a 4G63T into my Elantra... but I'm still not sure if it'd beat a 10 second K-car.

Have fun swaping in a 4G63... wish I had the money :/
