hmmm... if this is true than why does their 1.6L engine make over 160hp. It is true, however that hondas are overrated, but still over 100 hp/litre seems efficient to me :
IMO a swap like this would be nothing more than a waste of money , but hey i will still give u mad props if u do it. I remember seeing a rwd crx with a NSX motor in it

You first showed your ignorance by posting that.

Then showed complete stupidity by posting that.:hmmm:
Fact is, honda probably makes the best and most technologically advanced and reliable engines on the market. They are a hella better then a 4g63.
You would be a lot better off and probably cheaper with using a honda engine in the CRX. Just like you would be better off with the Beta in the Accent.
Sure, the 4g63t is cheap to make fast but have fun wasting your money on keeping it running.

There is a replacement for displacement. It is on 2 wheels and 600cc.
i dont know if youve ever raced a vtec honda... but if you have you would know that it does nothing when it kicks in but make a alot of noise! i dont see what the big deal is

are u serious????... you obiosly know nothing about variable valve timing then. And yes Ive raced cars with vtec motor in them, as a matter of fact a crx with a 1.8L integra gsr engine should be in the mid 14 seconds. That should be a big deal considering that a 1.8L car is now capable of dusting a 5.0L mustang. Yes the weight does alot of difference, but that setup can easily be made to hit 12s or 11s if you wanted to, it would be alot of work and money. It would still be way cheaper than a 4g63t.
if you want a 4g63t then why not get a mitsubishi, or an exel. Why must everyone want to swap a 4g63t into their ride, when there are better options:ermm:

you really have no clue what you're talking about.
4g63 into a CRX is A) a waste of time, and money because B) nothng, and i mean nothing will bolt right in. and finally C) a stock 4g63t engine, wiring harness, ecu, etc, etc, plus the cost of a 2nd gen crx would be WAYY more expensive then beta swapping your accent, or even throwing a 4g into it (WHICH IS -NOT- AN EASY TASK EITHER)
if "VTEC" was such a horrible idea, and honda made nothing but shit motors.. why is it that Honda's 2.0L s2000 engine is making 240hp, naturally aspirated, whereas your Stock Mitsubishi 4g63t (usdm) only creates 190-225, WITH A TURBO?? if you want to compare naturally aspirated vs naturally aspirated. you're looking at 100hp as the 4g63 (non turbo 2.0L) only makes 140hp
do some real research. use your brain then your mouth, instead of just letting your a$$ do all the thinking and talking for you.
yes, it's already been done. and yes, it was awd, and another was rwd.
you are a freakin idiot. You drive a hyundai and where in the f*ck do you have room to call a Honda junk? Vtec not only makes loud noise, but unlike other variable valve timings, it makes a lot more power, besides better emissions and better fuel consumption.
It would be easier to drop a B18c5 into it, and prolly costs about the same, and produce the same results.
**edit** do us honda owners a favor and sell that crx, you worthless piece of dog shit.
