I need help on my car...

I will most likely be here for several months, so that gives me plenty of time to get this car straight. Originally I wanted a MIVEC motor, but I hear the 4G motor in the 1.8L size is much better, because of the potential. Anyone who has done this please let me know what you came up with. I am now very serious about this conversion or one that will net the most horsepower for less than $3000 American dollars. Thanks
