Default Re: i need some quick beta engine help! plz asap! thanks

but what about the clutch being different? so if i have the beta engine, tranny and clutch, how do i hook it into the clutch plate???
thats another thing is the clutch petal cable going to hook up with the tib cluch receiver(i think its called that )and the throttle cable iv not yet looked at this but it has been brought to my attention .(is that what your talking about ?)
if this company in TO.is going to do all that for $800-1100 ill drop mine off next week !thats alot of work and parts you must have to supply the ecu, axles, and mounts.
is that the company that does the x2 swaps?
$2500 sounds about what a company should do it for if you supply the engine, tranny etc.. and they probly wouldnt make that much on it either onless they dont pay there employes that much .

ya thats what i was wondering, how do i hook the beta clutch up to the accents?
and is there anything else i have to worry about?
so i get them to put in the engine, tranny, ecu
what will they have to do for the clutch and all?
and like is there anything else that has to be custom?

well from what they have told me it will be 800-1100 for the labour of the mounts, ecu, install of the new engine and tranny, i gotta double check with the other stuff tomorrow,

International Automotive & Custom
they're in mississauga ontario

this is how its going:

i supply complete engine, tranny, ecu, and beta axles (so belts, manifolds, wiring harness for the ecu, etc), going to cost me about 1050 dollars cnd for all the parts

and the install will be somewhere between 1000-1500 for the wiring, labour, mounts, fitting the axles, etc.

ill keep u guys updated when it starts
either getting it done for this monday or in 2 weeks
i cant wait, this will be soo much fun

wondering, how fast will this make my accent in the 1/4 mile, and what about my 0-60, etc??

just the exhaust will be done, the headers, etc wont be coming on the car until april or so, so its going to be a stock beta with a 2 1/4 inch exhaust

i am very intrested how this will go if it turns out good i might get them to do mine .i have a 99 2.0l right now i need tranny etc... im getting a new clutch, flywheel, bbtb, for now .once its running id like to get a turbo with new pistons and rods etc...theres not much room in there after the 2.0l goes in so iv seen from pictures .a smaller rad would give it a little more room maby they could set the engine back a little like in the wrc car not that far ov course that would cost major cash.did they say anything about the power steering you need to make a custom bracket i beleive ?

ya they know that, the guy said they can do it, he said its better just to have manual steering with it, because of something, but they can do either or, so they can do the power steering one or the a/c one

thats wicked, im just getting a complete stock beta in, its a 97 1.8L dohc elantra engine and 5speed tranny, im just doing the exhaust, which im supplying the cat and muffler, and they are doing the rest, including the custom mounting of the exhaust to the manifold and all.
