Hey dude, know this is a lil OT, but the other day I got bored..
So I used webtech and made an ECM pinout for both the '98 1.5L sohc accent and the '00 2.0L tib.. I can;t vouch for accuracy, but it is accurate as webtech is.. just all the date on one handy piece.

heh.. funny thing is, all this info is avalible on webtech.. I just consolodated it all and made it pretty for easy reference.
If you go to the car of your choice, shop section, fuel system, mfi control system, and then select each sensor. What I did as just look at each sensor's circuit diagram and record where it's pinout (according to webtech) is. The whole circuit diagrams are useful though, to see where every other wire goes, that goes to any said sensor or component. Plus they don't give colors.. just numbers by position in the harness plugs.. so it takes some figuring. But it it shouldn't be too hard for anyone to figure out whatever it is they need to trace down and figure out.

AWSOME!!! so from looking at this you might not really need to change the wiring harness (assuming all plugs on engine side match up) and just rewire a few pins and plug the ecu into the accent harness... there are only about 5 or 6 wires that seem to be in different locations...

heh..so it would seem. I can only stress so much that if anything isn't correct though, thenits a problem with webtech (which isn't always known for accuracy when it comes transposing/misplacing info).
If both plugs look exactly the same, they should work in either ecu with a rewireing. I'mnot sure, I haven't lookedat both next to each other in real life. If they aren't the same shape, you would need to do alot of splicing and remebering of what was what.
