AS in the topic, which model/year accent performed the beta swap the easiest?

Those guys are just bias cause they own beta swaped LC's. And as a beta swaped LC owner I would have to agree with them

im curious, which swap to model year has the least modifications to the engine bay required though


man, i wish i had someone living within range of me that i could just say "here you go, this is the engine/tranny, swap away for me "

And in any case its going to be awhile before I have the cash for my swap. I'm just doing my homework as early on as possible

Any of you know of a kit out there, at this time, that will allow a swap of a 2.0 (or 1.8 I suppose) Beta engine from a Tiburon/Elantra into a 1998 Accent X3? (Probably looking at swapping the tranny too, I suppose) There's gotta be one eventually, ya think... :nervous:

If not, any of you know of any shops, either around NY or Toronto Canada that can do this reliably for a decent price?
