Default beta swap running (video up)

I just finished putting the beta motor in my car and when I go to fire it'll either fire 1,2,3, or 4 of the cylinders then die. It's weird, and I've quadruple checked the harness. I even went and got another Cam position sensor, crank position sensor. I'm running out of ideas. I've went over everything on webtec and nothing has worked. Somebody tried to tell me it was the timing, but I set it exactly like it shows in webtec. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's a beta II, the spark plugs are only long enough to reach the right cylinder. I'm gonna try resetting the timing again. Any one on here do the timing on a beta?

beta coilpacks.... It seems something is cutting the igition after the first cycle... it's very strange. Right now I'm testing all the sensors with a multimeter and trying to find someone with a OBDII scanner to see it the ECU is throwing a code.

switch to the accent coilpacks. it should fire up granted you have them connected correctly.

why wouldn't it fire on the beta coilpacks. I'm using a beta ECU, wiring harness, motor, and transmission. The wiring harness is fine (thanks to DREROB), so why would I need to use the accent coilpacks?

Ok so it's sounds like your are getting gas and spark. I would suspect timeing 0r firing order, is this your first timing belt? Sounds like your off by one tooth. If thats ok then recheck the firing order, they could be plugged in wrong at the coils. I have had both of these problems on my sis's excel and it was doing what you described. I had the timing belt off by a tooth long with the cap & rotor, the rotor was off by a few teeth.

oh so you redid the harness, i didnt know that. well as long as drerob knew all the info on the sensors and parts you were using it hsould be correct. but just to make sure, i would recheck the coilpack wiring, injector wiring, crank sensor wiring, and make sure the injectors are clean. i suppose its map, so you may want to check that and the tps.
