worn alternator?

everytime i turn my light's on..the car vibrate's a lil rougher..and it goe's away when i turn it off.

keep in mind i do have a underdrive pulley..is this the culprit?

is the fact that my alternator isn't cranking fast enough to supply decent power the problem of the rough idle?

is there a aftermarket pulley that i can install to fix this?

i looked at my ATNR pulley and it's small..

what steps can i take to make it efficent at idle?

new battery?
new alternator?

put stock crank pulley back on. or there is the obx overdrive power pulley set that includes i believe the alternator pulley and p/s pulley

are these pulleys smaller than the factory pulleys?

smaller pulleys help spin faster eh?

how about replacing my measily 80 amp alternator with a hi-Amp 90 amp alternator for the elantra?

i really don't wanna take my underdrive pulley out..i love the tire shredding torque it makes in first gear..

so it's OBX pulley set or hi-amp alternator..

The tib/elantra have a tsb on the alt not putting enough power out stock. They have an extra 10amp alt. That tsb has the part number for it.

yeah, for some reason, i see 80 amp and 90 amp alternator's for the tib and elantra on ebay

thats why. They dont install 80s anymore.

can i try installing a alternator from another model like a v6 GK or a santa fe?

i saw a few 110amp alternators for the V6 hyundais..
