I think i might hold off on the PS for right now. Im running out of cash for the project. I just need to get the car back on the road. I think i can live with out PS.
I have a question about emissions! It should be able to pass emissoins with the 1.6L ecu, right?
It should. As long as the cat does its job and there are no codes, it should be OK.
I just bought my motor. Its Foster auto parts in Portland. Now I just need to find a way to get it to my house. I going to try to get it today and get started on fitting it.

I have a question about your mount. I bought one, when using it do you need to slot the other mount to move over the motor at all, or can i use a hammer an bang in some of the frame?
either way really. if you use the hammer you might have to redrill the hole in the other part of the mount (if that makes sense, the part that my mounts bolts to). on my car i have the others slotted and the hole shabang shifted towards the drivers side.

Ryan, how is the shaking of the car? Does the beta make it shake really bad?

Soooo, I put the motor today. Got the flywheel and got it back from the machine shop today. It was easy to put the motor in. Lining up the tranny to the motor always kicks my ass, so I spent most of my time fighting with that.
I have a couple of issues with the install.
1. The motor is in there level. But my hood touches the motor. Anyone else have this issue? If not did I do something wrong?
2. The throttle cable is lose! Do I need to adjust it? I’m not sure there is an adjustment.
3. Also, the front tranny mount looks crooked, will this be an issue?
4. With Ryan’s mount, I can’t have the mount flat against the motor. The hood touches more this way.
Here are some other pix on the motor in the car. Don’t mind all the wires, I was re wiring the harness. I will post all my pin outs when I’m done and get it running.
