Hyundai Motor to expand headquarters
Hyundai Motor Co., Korea's largest automaker, said it will spend 170 billion won ($170 million) to expand its headquarters in Seoul.
The company will raise the money from internal reserves, Hyundai said yesterday in a regulatory filing to the Korea stock exchange.
Hyundai said it will build another office building with 21 stories and two levels underground near its current headquarters building in Yangjae, in the southern part of Seoul, by the end of 2006.
The new building will be used as headquarters for Hyundai units, it said.
