The number one way to tell if a car is crap: How soon it winds up at the pick a part yard as opposed to the fenced off lot.

Ford focuses are routinely in there, as are MAZDAs, which are peices of shit. Also Kias end up there quite often.

Yeah its sad but your right...their trucks are awsome and untill 1974 the Mustangs kicked ass. I sorta like the new 05's and up because they got a cool look. Other than that I just plain dislike ALL american cars...their made for old people and 16 year olds like Fisher Price..." My first Car". We need to model how we make our cars like the Europeians and Japanese.

damn and i thought i was the only one who felt this way. even the ugly hyundais look better than all GM, nissan, toyota, honda...etc. pontiac are the ugliest worst POS's ever (only thing they have is speed).

guess what though. Hyundai hired Ford's ex truck lead designer in charge of Hyundai design, so it's no wonder new hyundais are looking more and more like GM.

I don't think so, when I totaled my accent, it murdered my poor car, crushed the engine block, the front end was compressed to less than half its normal size. The only harm that came to me was a cut on my knuckle, from the faceplate of the aftermarket stereo popping off

Volvo cars are great. Shame they stopped production on the S60R though.

as far as death traps go, suvs flip all the time. some cars blow up. some vaporize in black holes. some grow herpes and share the wealth. some dress up like the easter bunny and run people over.....

its a death trap when

a. YOU DRIVE IT LIKE AN IDIOT OR YOU DON'T MAINTAIN IT PROPERLY.

b. SOMEONE ELSE DRIVES THEIRS LIKE AN IDIOT.

c. SOME FREAK OF NATURE KILLS YOU.

yeah, i may have pulled the trigger, but the gun killed him.

see my point?

I think that they ARE doing it on purpose...because if you think about it, there will ALWAYS be racism, robbery, terrorist and thiefs, so that means ther will ALWAYS be people who like Fords than Chevys, or Hondas, Or Toyotas (not that im associating roberry, terrorist and theifs to Ford drivers) but what im trying to say is, there will ALWAYS be a group of people who lean to one side more than the other, like me...My dad, cousins LOVE Hondas, but me...im a Anti-Honda person, i think its too stereotypical (cause im asian) and I just dont like em

wow Kias also. Almost all the KIAs in the local salvage yards in Louisville are hyundai based cars. There are just as many KIAs and Hyundais in the yards here. It has nothing to do with reliability. The simple fact is the resale is so low that when a accident happens to them the insurance companies total them. I own both a KIA and a Hyundai and both are very reliable. One of my Kias is easy to find parts because there was so many sold. My Hyundai on the other hand is a XG so not many parts in the yards. But there are lots of Accents, Elantras, Tibbys Sonatas. You won't find any Hyundais or Kias from the early 90s or older. Salvage yards here won't touch old cars. No money in them.

Funny you say that. In Japan, Hondas are only so so..they all want Mustangs and Comeros...not so much Firebirds or GTOs...thy are too slow...lol. No seriously they Like Toyotas over Nissans, Nissans over Hondas, and sadly even Mitsubishis over Hondas.
