why the heck would tiburon's be called hatchbacks?
they were alway's coupe's or fastbacks..
VW golf or a toyota yaris are hatchbacks, they don't have a sloping rear end like coupe's of fastbacks do.
if it has a sloping rear end with a sloped tailgate..it's a fastback or coupe.
nice Pic's of the tiburon..
and here's someelse..hyudai's starting to skimp a bit development and attention to it's lower priced models like the accent and elantra..
the accent is noisy and has a plasticky interior and rope-a-dope shifter.
the HD elantra has suspension defect's that cause the rear arm's to bend if the vehicle is loaded with passenger's or luggae.
hyundai will start to lose focus on it's product's if they do too much.

No, they have always been hatchbacks:
A hatchback is any vehicle where the rear opening is hinged ABOVE the rear glass and the glass opens (a hatch).
Cars like the Celica, RSX, Eclipse and even the 350Z are all hatchbacks. Even the New Beetle is a hatchback. And don't forget the Elantra comes as a hatchback.
