Are you talking about that hood that is on the black elantra?

If so you can buy that piece in the middle and get it molded onto your hood, and just have the middle cut out. I thought about doing that samething to my car, but i decided not to.

yes the black car is the one i'm talking about, someone on elantraxd said that zefiro makes it but I cannot find it any where on there site, I would much rather buy a pre made hood than mold one because it would be as much if not more money to do than the pre made hood would cost and I would have to worry about the hood cracking after time besides I want to buy the zefiro kit may be I could get a deal if I bought the kit the spoiler and the hood :hmmm:

Why don't you email them at http://www.hituning.com/ (where the hood is from) with a link to the pic and ask if they know of a US distributor.

The black elantra in refrence to the above mentioned post appears to be sporting an aftermarket copy of a "ralli art" vent. I realy dout the owner of the black elantra had it molded. Under closer inspection it appears as if they simply cut out a hole in the factory hood large enough to fit the "ralli art" style vent....

"Ralli Art" (Japan based producers of mitsubishi performance products) produces a vent similar to that of the black elantra's for the evo series mitsubishi lancers

This style hood will become a bit more common as the "EVO" lancers are finally being distributed through out the states.... It should come as a standard feature on the "evo" Lancers only.

This style vent was considered when I had redesigned our carbon fiber hoods for '01+ Elantras. However, it had already been done in Australia on a yellow 4door elantra last year.
so we used a honda "spoon" style vent instead....

But, if people are still intrested in the "ralli art" style vent, I think my carbon fiber distributor was producing the WRC lancer's version for $200/per. I'll run down this week, verify, and take photos.

Hope this info helped...

Update: Just found this image on hituning.com http://www.hituning.com/zboard/data/zefiro10.jpg
