Default Painted Valve Cover

I want to paint my valve cover, not the piece that covers the spark plugs, the actual valve cover, is there a certain paint I should use because it gets so hot under there, specially during long road trips? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if you're worried about heat, try engine block or brake caliper paint

when I painted my valve cover, I actually used my car's touch up paint. It worked wonders! I had no problems with fading, peeling or anything.
