Default Vinyl vs Custom Paint

I know alot of people say that vinyl = rice however im trying to decide on a custom paint job or getting some different vinyl. Now this is what I am thinking

Vinyl can always be removed and is cheaper to get designed and cut.
Paint is more expensive but looks nicer but as frivolent as I am I'd probably want to change the design within 2 years, sooo what do you all think?

Im trying to work on my car to get it show worthy... so if you judge shows or know how shows are judged how do they rate up?

I'm with you. Go for the vinyl. It's cheaper AND you can change it (with some doing).

I have vinyl graphics on the pics of my car and I have yet to hear someone scream ricey to me, I actually have had people pull me over just to ask where I got it done and so forth. Plus I have gotten some good revues from different people on this sight about the vinyl so I guess it just matters how clean you make it look. Good luck :

I think stickers and cheap and make a car look bad, but for many people painting may not be an option, althougth to get a patern like the vinal may only run you 1500 but when you run in to the air bush it can get way up there, the last one I did cost about 9000 it's all in what you want and what you like, it's your car.

Anybody who hates this idea say so cause in no way am I trying to promote this mod. But I heard that there are really sick ass decals that are magnets? Rice??? Who knows but if decals were an option to you don't you think easily removable and re-applyable decals be best? I dont know, my future father in law has a 1927 roadster and he goes to shows all the time and he came accross a guy with these on his roadster, he said they looked sharp as hell, and he's a pretty tough critic so who knows, maybe something like that would be tight on one of ours?
