Default Has anyone had a sunroof/moonroof installed in their car?

I know some Tiburons come stock with a sunroof/moonroof. Can I get one installed? And what the hell is the difference between a sunroof and a moonroof anyway?

Sure...alot of people get aftermarket sun roofs/moon roofs installed. When you do it, just be sure to try and find a shop that offers some kind of warranty against leaks. Most places do offer some kind of lifetime warranty, so keep an eye out for them. As far as the differences between a sun roof and moon roof, there's only one main difference. A moon roof is bigger and takes up more space on the roof.

How much do they run on average for a decent one?

It depends on the shop really. It also depends on if you want a power one or a manual one.

Power units run anywhere from 300 to 700 (that includes install)

Manual ones range anywhere from 100 to 400.

You can actually go to places like Pep Boys and order your own moon roof or sun roof and you could install them yourself if you choose to. but that intails cutting your roof open. If you don't have the skills to do that, then I would definitly let a pro handle it. 8D

I believe a sun roof is a window that fully opens and a moon is a solid piece that cracks open to let some air in

Negative sir.

Either one can tilt up or slide all the way back. :
