Anyone know how to make custom guage faces? - Hyundai Performance Forums

I'm looking to buy the blue on silver guage faces from SharkRacing, but I wan't the faces for my climate controls to be of the same color (blue on silver).

I already removed the faces. The whole thing is about 8 1/2" x 2 3/4" and is 1/16" thick. Anyone know where I can get the faces that I removed duplicated in different colors?

I remember hearing people say stuff about guys on ebay and whatnot, but I've searched here on that topic and found nothing. Can anyone help me?

When i custom made my gauges, i just took the stock gauges and made a very high res. scan of them then i manipulated em in Corel Draw 10, and printed em back out on some nice photo paper with my laser printer. When you look up close to em there are some imperfections but when you just cruzin they look perfect. 8D

perlplay, i have seen a pic, i think on SR, when the boards were accessible to the gen. public, of the blue on silver climate control guages, but they were for a tib.

i am still looking at getting the reg. guage faces, again, blue on silver....

if you ever happen to find a lead on climate controls for LC accents, if you remember......drop me a line, cuz i'd be interested. im looking forward to doing my taxes.......

Since I alread had the faces removed earlier today, I took them with me to a few screen printing places in my area and they quoted me on custom jobs for $20-$45.

That would involve me doing all of the drawing, planning, cutting, and testing. They would just print out the stuff and give me the adhesive.

I am going to call Shark Racing tomorrow, and find out who makes their guage faces, and hopefully I will be able to work from there.

I think you've alread seen these but I'll put them up to ive people ideas. If youget a decent price for custom guages, let me know. I want some purple on white or on silver ones.

I called Shark Racing yesterday to get some info from them, and I emailed their customer service and asked for the project to be forwarded to Korea.

I am also finished with the design I am going to have my screen printing company print on clear vinyl for me. I will then take that vinyl sticker and put it on some fairly strong plastic I get from a local discount store for a buck.

I should have my first prototype on Tueday of next week.
