Default Any suggestions for moderately priced racing seats?

I was looking at the Cobra Sidewinders but it turns out that they're enormously expensive, so other than Tenzo-R, what other manufacturers are out there for decent priced seats? Has anyone heard of Matrix Motorsports seats? They look good too, at 500 a pair, they're not bad. How are they? Anything else I should consider?

I would check out ebay. Recently I saw a pair for $399 plus free shipping, the seats looked nice from
the pictures. The only thing is instalation which could be tricky. The measurements for them are posted
so you could get an idea of how they would fit in your ride.

good luck.

I just noticed Tenzo and R-1 look good too. I've heard of Tenzo before, what about R-1? They look nice too, and they're pretty cheap, about 80 less than the Tenzos. Is there anything I'm missing? What are some recommendations?

I wouldn't skimp on seats especially if you drive a 200 Tib.

Reasons would be
-That they probably won't hold you much if any firmer in place then stocks.
-They won't hold up as well to wear and tear.
-They usually are not as comfortable. (especially on longer drives)

I suggest you save your money and get what you realy want or you just won't be happy in the long run.

I was not impressed with them at all when I was at SEMA. But to be quite honest, I was not impressed with any of the cheaper brands. If you had a chance to sit in them, you would understand but unfortanately it is hard to get that chance to sit in different seats to compare.

I am not huge but by far am I skinny either. Most of the cheaper seats were still too wide for my liking. (I have a 36" waiste)

Why can't somebody make something of quality for a fair price for a change.......lol.
Oh well....I guess it will be a while before I get seats. I have been looking at some MOMO seats that the race shop I go to uses in their Integras....pretty nice, not too expensive, not too wide. The only catch is they are race seats and aside from the padding you sit on and is behind you the rest of the seat is metal.
