Default Silver Tiburon Owners

I had an club GTR body kit installed on my silver tiburon the summer and had a problem with the silvr matching especially with the back. I found that the factory paint on the hatch was lighter then the bumber that had been repainted. Have anyone else come across this problem. If i painted the whole car silver again would it all match up?

hey man.. you know what, i had that same problem.. and the cloudy days seemed to be worse then the sunny days.. but i repainted my body kit, and now it looks 100% better, and 100% dead on with the paint.. now i can see where are you from if you are comfortable with that kind of info, or i can see what brand and what paint code my paint guy used, if you wish to let your paint guy know.. but you can add my screen name on IM if you wish, tiburoncruiser03, or e mail me, tiburoncruiser@hotmail.com, and i can show you more pics then the ones on here of how well my repaint job came out.. good luck to you..

also dude, where did you get your body kit from, cause if it was from hdkautosport, that may be the solution, and that is a knock on the company.. no hard feelings, just the truth..

there are 7 or so diff shades of silver, it can be from the same paint code and it still will not match, silver is just a bitch to match and 7 times out of 10 it will not. You could talk to your paint shop about it but I dont think they will do anything about it unless your willing to pay again, and it might just come out the same.
