Default How to Take care of a New Paint Job

I am getting my car painted in a week and all he's doing is taking the clear coat off and spraying it again with the factory color (Alpine White) then applying another clear coat.
I just had a wreck and the collision center was charging $700 to paint the hood and fender and bumper, so I'm taking it elsewhere and having the entire car re-sprayed for the same price.

How do I take care of it to keep it looking good as new a year from now? Is there anything I should or shouldn't do the first 2 or 3 months after a new paint job?

Ask your paintshop, should have all the information you need to know.

Take my advice... Don't use the Ding King on that new paint  it works, but when I used it on the right side of my car (re-painted about 2 weeks ago), not only did it pull the dent up, it also took off the paint on the second try on that dent. I should've stopped while I was ahead.
