Default Removed pinstripes but...

I own a 97 WHITE tiburon that had red and black pinstripes that ran down either side of the car. I removed these with ease, but then I went back over where they were with a little bit of goof-off (the stuff that removes glue from the back of stickers, this also removes wax from cars:ermm, and I can't get it all off. I don't mind that it took off my wax, but what bothers me is that no matter how hard I try, I cannot seem to get all of the glue from the pinstripes off, and it makes my car appear dirty and off-white. The more I try to get it off, the more it smears. Anyone have an idea on how to get it all off?

Go down to your paint supplies store and pick up a pinstripe eraser, and that should do the trick, it's just like a big pencil eraser that goes in a drill, use it on low power

YES, low power. You can, and might, take the paint right off with high speed. Trust me, I've done it.

I used 3m adhesive (sp) remover when I removed my pinstripping. Also used Paint thinner as well.
