Default Primer in the winter

Ok all i wanna do is ask a question. I dont want peoples opinion so dont even bother. I am gonna be getting my kit and all soon but by time i have it all on and ready the summer will be over. and then comes the evil winter. In delaware we always have snow and i dont want it ruining my new paint job cause i cant park in the garage. So i was thinkin just getting everytihng on and primering my car for the summer. How well will this hold up through the winter and snow? i dont care how "ghetto" this may look but its gonna happen. I will just slap an under construction sticker on the back.

It depends on the primer you use. If you go to walmart and buy an 88 cent can of spray paint primer then it's not going to last and you're gonna mess some stuff up. If you spray some automotive paint primer on it or some epoxy primer it should hold up quite well. Don't worry about primer on the car. I'll try and get some pics of my car right now lol....I'm driving it around totally primered with grey and then where I did body work there is a lighter grey primer It's your car and you know what it will look like in the end so don't worry about what others think.

you'll be good as long as you have a few coats of a very good primer!
