that's the best way I believe. My friend was telling me pretty much the same thing.

Someone I know has an old beetle, put suicide doors with actuators with shaved handles... His door somehow magically popped open on the highway, and since its a suicide door, it caught the wind, was torn out and destroyed, and tore up the entire passenger side of his car.... Hehe, I never liked him anyway gre:

I recorded it to tape, so i dont know how i would get it up on here for everyone to see. Any ideas? im sure i could send the tape to someone that could make it into an mpeg or something.

Anyway.. just thought i would share... Peace
a capture card, anything shown on the tv screen (games, movies, e.t.c.) can be recorded from tv to your pc, and then to whatever you wanna do with it. Mine only cost me about 65. thats not including the s-video cord.

I just did my 96 Accent and they turned out pretty nice. I know this thread is aging a bit but I wanted to add a couple of comments about my experience. Be very careful with the heat. While I was stitching mine up with the welder I could see the door panel begin to flex in. I was able the bring it back to normal by cutting a relief slot with a cut off tool just below the handle opening then later welding that back up. Also to get the steel cover to match the slight curve of the door I used a ball peen hammer and tapped the inside part of the patch while it was laying on a thick piece of wood. All in all i think it turned out good. I wish I had taken some pictures while I was working on it.

Yeah I had a piece of 1/4" angle iron c-clamped just below the handle on the inside and on the outside. A little bit more slower on the tacks on the second door and it did just fine.
