I was also thinking of doing a paint job in my car when I saw Bat's. But I said I'll work on my engine mods first.

Hey Rudy,

Some generic Rustoleum (was called Home and Garden or something but made by Rustoleum), picked it up at Ames, on sale for $2.99 a can (what a cheap shmuck eh?) but I used a bare metal light gray primer first. The primer really helped, the yellow went on real smooth and covered the very first coat.

I put on like three coats of yellow and then like 4 or 5 coats of clear.

The only question I have is why did you paint thaaat....what's it's called. You know...that compartment or little glove box thing. It just seems out of place.IMO

Ah... what you don't see are the rear speaker grills... they too are painted.
