Default custom paint jobs

well. i managed to get hold of a spray gun/compressor from a friend, since my car needs a bit of fixing up in some places. i thought about while im at it, i might try a simple type of design. the car is red currently and i was thinking of doing it black and red. i have access to a spacious garage which could be refunctioned to suit my needs. i was just wondering about who has had experience with this. any things to look out for? can i just spray over the old paint? ive got another 2-3 months till id attempt this and i want to check out if its feasible to do. ive done some minor bodywork in the past but nothing drastic. i thought that this might be a good chance for me to learn something new

The 3rd One Indeed,
Just in case you're being chased by the Scotland Yard or a Constable, They'll think they're chasing a black accent,

and when you spray, mask and cover everything in good order and don't spray too closely,
