Default Polishing manifold

have any one try this at home????? or perhaps pay a shop......i did my throttle body...it came out alright.i've just started on the manifold....man that a rough piece of Sh!t.....not easy.....any suggestions.....any one?????

yeah dude you get a flapper bit for a drill and go at it until its semi smooth. then polish it off with some 1000 grit emery paper (might wanna use 800 then 1000 depends on how it turns out) and then use whatever polish you want. ive seen some stuff on ebay for under $10 that has diamond dust in it, that cant be too bad.

I have wondered how getting it chromed would look... but either way.. there is a LOT of work involved in getting the casting smooth.. goodluck!
