To keep from totally hijacking a thread... here are the cosworth excort vents on a cosworth...

Mine are going to go about six inches or so from the windscreen... angled so they follow the contour line on the hood.

i actually kinda like that.. so ur gonna get an FG hood than???? right.. and have em moldin in or not??

hay those are a nice pair of vents......try not to mold in the vent...cause it will eventually starts to crack.....the hood is not solid...

I was going to get a CF hood for lightness.. and mold them into that.

Moved the pic.. and just had the thought that I might be able to move my windsheild squirters to the vents themselves...

yeah i like the windshield quirter idea. couldn't u maybe hide them in the vents??? that would be kool as shlt.. so when u spray em, itll look like its comin outta the vent..

woohoo.. all mine! 41 bucks plus shipping on eBay... time to add this to the mods I am "borrowing" from other cars.

Just wanted to ask.. who makes the best CF hood for the first gen tib.. and what is their website? Tibbychic lists "c-west" and a google search brings the name up fairly often.. but not site for it.

just an add... vents came today and they are near the perfect size for my needs. I still need to cut the vents out of them as they are just a glassfibre blank.. but it leaves me to do some modding.. next is the bumper and hood... and then paint.
