Default Cuda muffler tips?????

Does any one know how to mount the muffler tips that come with the Cuda kit? It looks like something is missing, I mean the the inlet for the tip is like 3" in diameter! Am I missing a piece or something? It can't just be welded to the pipe without some sort of adapter piece.

you're going to have to do something similar to what bigboi or spiffywerks did.. basically fabricate a new rear section for your exhaust. time to hit up a muffler shop or get handy w/ a welder sir

you will have to get a muffler shop to flare out the tips of the exhaust piping... when they flare it out it will fit in the cuda tips. That is how i did mine.

Try and get in contact with George (spiffywerks) and ask him how they did his. I think his turned out better then mine did.

I remember seeing pics of how Spiffywerks did his dual muffler outthe back and it looked like he had different tips installed, but thanks makes a little more sense now!

I wonder why they would design them like this?

Cuz SR is a POS... what do u expect? The fvckin "emblems" you get with the kit are like damn model airplane pieces.. you have to cut the damn things out of the plastic trim with a hobby knife.... ghey... just like the fog lights and fog light rings....

but there has been enough flaming about those things with the cuda kit already :dead:X)

Agreed! Maybe I'll just get a different set of tips. That will save a lot of fabrication hassles!:ermm:
