Default ripped off about 6" of piant on my rim..

OK guys, i got these nice 17" white ADR DV-8 rims on my car. well they had decals around the whole border of the rim that said DV-8 and such. they were getting dirt under em and lookin pretty ugly...:dead::dead: my smart ass decides to take em off.. good theory.. got to honestly the last decal. started to peel it, and the paint comes with it.:dead::dead: not good.. i almost kicked my car... well i wanst really sure how to fix but i had to think of something. went to meijers, bought some 2000 grit sandpaper and some white duplicolor paint. came home, wet sanded the area to even our the edges of chipped paint then, threw a coat on every 20 min for like 2 hrs. waited til completely dry, then wetsanded again..

is this the right way to do it.. u can't even tell unless you look reeeeeaaally hard or know that it was there..

the right way to do it would have been to call the company and tell them that their POS rims you just got are peeling paint.

BUT.. if you can't tell, then i'm sure it will be ok, as long as you dont have to repeat the process in a couple of months.
