Default Cuda 2 install

My garage is having a hell of a time getting the kit to fit. The hood will not close, even after taking off the metal bracket. The sides near the corner lights are off by more than a quarter of an inch. The bumper crash guard has to be taken off, the area around the corner lights need to be modified slightly. The sides are a joke!!! The back half of the sides skirts are not even straight their wavy. The garage will have to put screws into the sheet metal to make them sit flush. (Hole) lot of problems their. The rear bumper. Well, lets see the mounting holes dot line up, hole for the plate light not even close, and the trunk doesn't close properly. These are just some of problems, do all Hyundai kits fit this poorly? Can any one with similar problems give me some ideas on how to solve some of these problems. Plus Can some one post pictures of molded in side skirt vs. not molded in so i can show my garage. any help will be appreciated.
thanks
John

You should really talk to the place you got the kit from. I don't know how many Cuda 2 kits were sold, but I haven't seen any here yet.

i went to test fit mine and the only problem i was having was the whole having to cut bumper support thing and the hood not closing.. that can be sanded down tho, so that shouldnt be a problem. the sides and the corner lights seems to line up pretty damn good. imma take it into the shop soon and get everything installed. i had the same prob with the hood not closing. didnt really make sense but i think its just to thick.

Dptiburon,

I had pretty much the same problems as you, but my hood actually close leaving huge gaps above the headlights. I have sent you an e-mail with images. Since then I have fixed most of these problems (front bumper) and my car looks much better now.

you do know u can adjust the height of the hood latch, right? That is what i had to do with my original Cuda kit when I installed it. I just moved it up slightly and it doesn't hit anymore.

Thanks for the ass remark on my car , but you are right. I actually drove my car like that during the entire winter but finally a month or so ago when it got warmer I was able to fix all the gaps in the front.
