Default my idea......

i recently bought the chrome air vent covers from kspec(they come in packs of ten, and all you have to do is trim them to fit the air vents in your car...very easy and they look good), anyway.......i had a few left over from the airvents, so i looked at the ugly black grill that comes stock on a 2000 elantra, and got an idea.......the chrome pieces fit great on the vents on the grill. i just ordered more from kspec. all i am gonna do is put a little superglue on the lip of the chrome piece and slide it on the grill for a secure fit......hoepfully i will have some pics by next week. has anyone else tried this? it looked awesome to me and my friends.....

Post some pics... Although you might want to try something other than super glue (epoxy or something)... Super glue is not very permanent outside.

home depot sells something called monkey glue, which is supposed to be the worlds strongest glue. my friend used it to reattatch his side mirror, when it broke off...it is still on there admist all the rain and bad weather that jersey has had.

you should make sure taht they arent gonna ship off the chrome. Cause they were painted to withstand your interior not outside. You should just get the chrome lips they sell at pep boys that go on door sills to stp knicks. They are made for the weather conditions.
