Default Custom Diamond Plating / mesh grills

Hey Everyone

I purchased some custom diamond plated floor mats recently and they look great! I wanted to know if anyone has made their own custom diamond plated mats or sills? I want to replace the door sills with diamond plating and also my trunk space cover. Is this hard to do and expensive at all? Could I just pick this stuff up at home depot or do I have to special order it somehow?

Also for making custom mesh grills I always see that stuff on ebay. Could this material also be picked up at home depot? Has anyone had experience in installing a custom mesh grill on a stock body?

Thanks

The grills look great. The only problem I have with them is I keep thinking "Where do I put the cord for my block heater". Damn Canadian winters...

I picked up some mesh from Lowes yesterday. They only had it in economy size (4' x 10') for $6. I have a whole grip of mesh now to play with.

Hey Guys

I got my mesh grills installed today and it looks awesome! So much better than that cheap plastic stuff. How long does it usually take before it starts to rust? I heard that it's only like a couple of weeks. The aluminum stuff doesn't rust but then again it's like $80 a sheet.

Keep me updated

Hey Everyone

I am getting some door sills from Redz so I am maxing out on diamond plating on my car. I am also maxed out on mesh grills so I have no more need for this topic.
