Default D.A.D. Racing Seats

Anyone have them? I heard they make you sit kind of high in your car. I'm 6 foot, so will I have any issues with them in a Tib? Thanks.

A friend had a pair and if you use their brackets you hed'll hit with a slight bump. Another friend of mine is 6'2" and his head is right on the roof with a normal sitting position... come to think of it, what the hell is a normal sitting position!?!?!? Nah, n/m...

If you don't use sliders or maybe fab up some brackets that sit low you could probably get away with it.

Yeah...I'm building brackets this weekend, and plan on making them so the seats sit pretty low. Hopefully they come out ok. :ermm:

I take it these are FIA approved...

I would probably just bolt them to the stock seats mounting locations, fabbing up custom brackets to mount them in the stock holes. So long as the bottom of the seat isnt any higher than the stock seat you should be fine (as I dont imagine you being worried about helmet clearance like I am).

I had the DAD seats installed in my Tib for over 2 years and it sits very comfortable with me being 6 Feet
With my custom brackets i made the height is just perfect
