Let me take a crack at this one...
If you're planning on running a large system, a capacitor is a good idea. It will help prevent lights dimming when the bass hits really hard.
just do a search for white face gauges or reverse indiglo gauges
did you measure out to see if there's 50cm of room? plus if you go to momo.it you can get the width dimensions too (note, these can be cut very easily to fit the size and shape you need)
If you're talking about those trim kits... no, the brushed aluminum ones look better and tend to match the silver accents better
In Australia? Sorry, never been. Try finding a place that paints motorcycles and stuff like that.
Not hard at all... Follow the directions and all you should need are (at the most) wire strippers, electrical tape, connectors and/or soldier... maybe heat shrink if you want to get fancy
