Default Nokya Headlight Harnesses?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7943558064&catego ry=42613

Take a look at this and tell me what you think. I think my bulbs right now have seen better days so I'm looking to replace them, but I know I want to go with Nokya, cuz I just like em. Anyway, I'm planning on getting a set of new H7 "Stage II" (whatever that means).

My question is, what is the deal with the harness? Do I need it? I guess they're saying that the new bulbs use more juice so a new harness is needed for preventing meltdown. Does anybody have experience.

Input appreciated.

Okay, opinion noted. If I had lots o' cash, maybe I'd go HID, but regular headlights are fine by me.

I am not even sure you could use that harness if you wanted to. If you look at the way Hyundai assembles their lights, everything is contained inside the housing with only a small plug visible on the outside of the plastic.

Well...after using aftermarket headlight bulbs I've replaced my harnesses 3 times now. So yes, upgraded harnesses are worth the money. They basically use beefier wires and materials that can handle higher heat caused by increased wattage bulbs.

You can also get them at Autozone and Advance Auto Parts for about $10.

Also, be sure to use dielectric grease on the bulbs. Between upgrading the harnesses and using the grease, I've never had any more problems and my current set of Sylvania Silverstars have lasted over 18 months.

I wouldn't recommend Nokya bulbs though, the set I had was crap.
