Did you try that same design but without the red horizontal stripe around the beltline? In this case I think simpler might be better.

not bad.

I like the red better. I would not do the forward arrow thing tho. that was originally done by motion-baldwin on their cars. they built camaro's and vega's, about as domestic as you could get (in the 60's and 70's) and in the 70's gm stole the idea and put it on a few cars as well.

You are messing with domestic history with the arrow. but it does not look bad.

i say flat steel grey-ish would be pimptight.. you're already going hardcore w/ the weight reduction might as well go all out..

flat black would be cool but it's everywhere

flat steel grey-ish or bronze-ish..
that's my .02 anyway *shrugs*

rock and roll.

well then I will just act like a little kid and say that it looks like crap and would recommend that you try doing something different.

just remember to tell your mad doctor to double check the welds on the intake.

i actually think the red/black combo would look good, but make it so that there is no red line between the black and red, just one continous black arrow.

the grey that i have in my garage is flat. for now im just sticking with flat paints for 2 reasons. i have a shit ton of it just sitting around, and 2, its cheap, and im still not that good at painting, so im trying to practice without spending a ton of money. i sprayed my buddies underhood the other day and it came out perfect. i was quite happy. hmmm, and i kinda like the idea of bronze. ive decided against bright colors, like the red. at least for the time being. so we will see what happens.
