Default LC2 Grill

Ok so I was messing around on psc and found a new grill. Crazy price of $220 AUS ($170 US) but I was wondering on your thoughts.

Here's the pic:

Looks decent.

Looks like the border around the inserted grill in two parts though.

I think it looks ok. I dont think I would pay that much for a grill but thats just me. Although it does kinda look like something you can finagle yourself. perhaps save $$!!!

I like it, but I don't want to pay that much for it. I'll see about a group buy...

Yeah Jennie I was totally thinking that myself. $50 worth of fibreglass would make that easy. I have a week off from work next week and maybe I would tackle that. Then again I kinda like the mesh the way it is now.

Who knows.

Would be cool to get a group buy 03-accent-03 but i doubt it would be that much cheaper. Though i was a bit excited that psc has some deal that it's free shipping in aug for that item.

I give PSC props for actually tackling something like this, but I'm not a fan of it...I like the size of my mesh grille right now. A thinner edge would probably look ok, but I still wouldn't pay that much when I'm perfectly happy with my current one.

That's how I feel too attist.

I like the ones I've seen on some civics and corrolas where it's just a small half inch frame around the mesh. I'm not sure why the top piece of the psc grille is a bit lower than it should be. That's really my main issue with it.

If i did make these grilles i'm sure i could sell a few at $60 or so (unpainted of course) I just don't know if it's worth it. I suppose you don't know how much work is involved until you try.

I'll let you guys know what I come up with. Before I get too gung-ho how would ppl feel about an LC2 grille fibreglass with mesh more like the corolla one for somewhere around $60 plus shipping?:

Email me at d351m8@gmail.com if you'd be interested and I'll get to work on it this week.

I had thought about building one for my LC2, but I didn't like the concept. I figure, the bumper and hood create enough of a frame for the grille, visually, and if I built another it'd just look too busy. Now that I see it, I'm glad I didn't waste the time.
