My humble opinion - don't get either. Neither one carries any kind of FIA certification. Cheap seats like this can collapse in the event of an accident. Save up and buy the good stuff.
1981 C-Prepared Camaro
Too much to list. 450hp & 14" wide slicks...
1999 Street Mod Accent - SOLD
T25, 2.5" downpipe to high flow cat, side exit, intercooled, Tib TB/MAF/injectors, SAFC-II, K-Sports, PSC sway-bar, 15x7s with 205/50 Kuhmo v710s...
I'd agree; the seat is an integral part of the safety system. DO NOT stinge on this part, or simply do not modify it. There are a few very good brands that are rigid enough while still carrying good levels of safety:
-Sparco[the best for track]
-Recaro[the best for street usage]
-Cobra[the best or thin people]
-RPM[good and affordable]
These are the best ones which are FIA certified. Either use these or do not modify the seats at all; your life is dependant on how securely you're held in the vehicle in event of somethig going wrong.

Id get seats from Corbeau, Recaro and Sparco 1 piece though. They don't need to be FIA certified just a known company. The FIA number is there as insurance.

The only interest he has in these seats is selling them. He is running a GB on theses exact seats on another forum I'm on. I agree 100% make sure you buy a good seat because it could just save your life.

Id only get "race" seats in a car with a cage.
Nod. On a passengar car the roof it meant to collapse to absorb energy in case of a rollover. Unfortunately a racing seat and harnesses keep you trapped and could very well kill you. Race seats belong in race cars.

Exactly and the seats are made to give as well.
This is what most dont understand.
If you plan on running race seats with harnesses or even just a harness you need a cage or rollbar
