Default Spoiler Question...

Anyone here ever install an aluminum spoiler I bought one, and received two install quotes one of 150 bones, and the other of 65 bones. now I know this can't be that hard and I am not to fond of paying someone to do something I can do myself you know. I am just wondering if there is a technique outhere someone could share with me. the trunklid on the Accent looks pretty flat so I am not worried there. I am just worried about getting the thing on straight. the spoiler is 48' wide our trunks are 47', and the mounting brackets for this thing are about 15' apart. please dont make fun of me for asking, I am just looking for a little help. thanks in advance.

The center of the trunk would be at 23.5 inches. Measure out 23.5 inches and use something temporary to mark it. Do the same with the center of the trunk from front to back. Once this is done, take the spoiler and set it so that the footments of the spoiler are both the same distence from the center. Mark the holes and then drill. You can use a sharpie or something to mark the holes since you will be drilling there any way. I would use a square so that you know it's on nice and straight. You could actually make a templet with poster board, you know like a stencil for where the holes will go. It will be easy to make straight measurements on paper anyway.

Make sure to put masking tape over the area you're drilling for the holes to keep the paint from chipping/flaking.
