Default Hot Tires

Has anyone tried out tire paint?

e/Learning :: Hot Tires

I like to be different once in a while and was considering doing my lettering, but I think it might be a bit too tacky on such a small car (accent). However, I'm thinking it might be neat if I painted the "rain gutters" in the treads... I'd do them red to match my car. I'm wondering how well this paint would hold up, considering it would be exposed to even more road crap then the side walls. Especially rocks...

any thoughts?

well, it's obviously a product for show..

i like the idea..and it'll make owner's with white wall tires happy but hate the tire tint punk's in japo cars are sloppin on thei tires..

tire tint is a colored tire shine that define's ricyiness to the max.

that's such a useless product anyhow..you can use a sharpie marker and have the same results

the sharpie would be faster. I noticed he was dabbing it on.

Well if the tires only have raised, but not white lettering.... the sharpie probably wouldn't be too effective...

I think the tip is a lot like those touch up pens you can buy from Hyundai... shake, prime, dab...
