uncomfortable 02 sonata ride

I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata. It rides great on smooth road and very rought on bumpy surfaces. Also, there tends to be some clunking noises coming from the front. Could this problem exist because I have not installed the revised front suspension parts such as the anti-sway bar bushings, clamps etc. Please I really need some help guys
